What we do
The daily activities of the SJUSA embodies the vision of its founders decades ago, and is a hive of operations encompassing all relevant Islamic services to the Muslim community at large.
However, the dawn of democracy in South Africa with its racial, cultural and religious diversities has necessitated further engagement with non-Muslim entities to educate and create awareness in regards to the unique life model and sets of laws applicable to Muslims.
The SJUSA has established a rapport with government, corporate and educational institutions who frequently seek our input prior to implementing structures, strategies, or operational adjustments which may adversely affect or be deemed offensive to the beliefs and practices of Muslim staff, students etc.
Our services are offered gratis (free of charge).
